Famel brings to mind the old motorcycles of the 70s, 80s and 90s. It's a brand that remains as one of the symbols of the old national industry.

The Famel XF 17 was the most iconic motorbike out of the FAMEL assembly lines. Equipped with the Zündapp 5-speed, 7.1-hp, air-cooled or water-cooled engine (Famel Xf-17 Super), it boomed in the late 1970s to the mid-1990s. It's considered by many to be a legend and is currently in great demand for restorations.
One of the well known Portuguese motorcycles of all time.

In this project as well all others, I decided to go my own way. The rear was modified and some other details as you can see on the pictures.

Thanks to my friends:

Ricardo "Arrepiado" Domingos for making so many km's to bring me this bike and to Martim Velosa for helping me on the production of the rear seat.
